Vanihita 3D Model and Concept
Completed as a part of my senior capstone project, Project Vani. Vanihita is a part of an imagined race of Simains: people blessed by the Simurgh, a Persian Phoenix-like deity, to maintain a symbiotic relationship with ancient, magical creatures.
As the gameplay of this project involves climbing massive beasts to gather alchemical components, the design needed to communicate the idea of "field scientist" over "adventuring hero"
I researched a variety of ancient Persian dress, climbing gears and tools, and visual archetypes of the farmer, witch, druid, and scientist.
